learning to k.i.s.s

I first learnt to K.I.S.S. in my twenties. No, I'm not about to divulge any past exploits or admit to being a late developer! K.I.S.S. is a marketing strategy I learned in my previous life as a corporate nine to fiver (it was usually 7.30am to 6.30pm if I was lucky but who's counting?!).

Keep It Simple Stupid - a straightforward premise that basically means don't over complicate things, something I often remind myself (especially when dealing with teenagers!).

I expect you're wondering why I'm telling you this? After all, kissing has absolutely nothing to do with skincare.. (unless you're puckering up after applying a gorgeous lip balm!) But bear with me.. there is a point I promise!

Take a look at any product on your cosmetic shelf and you will invariably see a long list of ingredients, which on closer inspection will NOT have as much natural goodness as you'd like (I'm assuming that as you're here reading this, you love natural skincare as much as I do) Most skincare products are packed with synthetic fillers, chemical nasties and even water.. yes, I am talking about your new "superfood" moisturiser that claims to be full of plant vitamins and minerals. And if they do claim to have lots of natural ingredients they're probably in such small amounts that their only use is for marketing purposes - sometimes less really is more.

So... back to kissing then!

By using the K.I.S.S. strategy I have created pure, natural, effective skincare. A few carefully selected ingredients work together to give you moisturised, hydrated, glowing skin ... it's not rocket science (although I do have a degree in aromatherapy and there is a LOT of chemistry involved!)

I like my skincare uncomplicated don't you? And let's face it.. there's nothing nicer than being kissed right?
